First Steps Women's Centre (FSWC)

First Steps Women’s Centre provides education and training, support and guidance, along with exceptional opportunities and friendship to women across Mid-Ulster. FSWC works tirelessly to remove barriers to learning and inclusion women experience by providing additional services such as counselling, transport, a fantastic onsite Childcare Facility and a Benefit Checker service which is available to both men and women. Services are available to women over 18 and children under 5 and can be accessed by self-referral.

• Childcare - All our childcare staff are trained and qualified to look after your child. Our role is to take away the worry and stress whilst you can concentrate and enjoy learning and making friends.
• Transport – First Steps Women's Centre (FSWC) has its own minibus which is used to transport women and their children to and from the Centre.
• Counselling - First Steps Women's Centre offers a free counselling service for women.
