Network Personnel deliver training and employment initiatives throughout Northern Ireland, Cavan and Monaghan.
Specialising in helping unemployed or economically inactive people to improve their confidence, gain new skills and find sustainable employment. They offer advice, training and support tailored to individual needs while also working in partnership with local employers to address local labour market needs.

They can offer you a range of pre-employment training and development opportunities tailored to your individual needs.

Network Personnel staff are there to help you grow in confidence and support you to take the next step that is right for you. They will offer you tailored training that suits your needs in a friendly and supportive environment.

They understand that everyone’s needs are different and as such provide the opportunity for clients to access a wide range of industry-leading training and qualifications and undertake accredited training.

These training courses will help you considerably to develop your skills and gain confidence improving your chances of gaining employment.
Are the Training Courses Free?
These courses are free to participants who meet the eligibility criteria for Network Personnel’s programmes.
Grow Programme
If you are on a non job seeking benefit, but would like to improve your confidence skills and employment prospects, then the Grow programme can support you.
Support will include:
- A dedicated key worker
- Help with improving your motivation and confidence
- Advice on budgeting for you and your family
Help with:
- CV development
- Job search and application form
- Interview preparation
- Contacting potential employers and securing employment
- Sourcing work experience opportunities
- Exploring Self Employment opportunities
* Engagement can be a mix of online and face to face.
What is the criteria for the Grow Programme?
You must be over 18 and be on a non job seeking benefit.
Apprenticeships
Network Personnel also offer a range of apprenticeships through the ApprenticeshipsNI programme giving anyone aged 16+ the opportunity to access training and develop while they gain an industry recognised qualification.
Eligibility criteria for the ApprenticeshipsNI Programme:
- aged 16+ years of age
- working a minimum of 21 hours per week (not in education or training) which includes your time out for class
- available to attend class for 6 hours per month during working hours which you must be paid for. Classes are a mix of online and face to face delivery in one of our centres.
Network Personnel currently offer the following qualifications:
- Business Administration (Levels 2 & 3) – General Administration staff
- Customer Service (Levels 2 & 3) – Customer advisors, sales assistants, order processing departments and customer facing roles
- Warehousing & Storage (Level 2) – Despatch, delivery, production operatives and packers
- Logistics Operations (Level 3) - logistics supervisors, warehousing team leads
- Children’s Care, Learning & Development (Levels 2 & 3) – childcare assistants, room supervisors
- Retail (Levels 2 & 3) – sales assistants, supervisors
- Health & Social Care (Levels 2 & 3) – care assistants, home help
An apprenticeship usually takes a minimum of 12 months to complete and if you do not have your GCSE Maths, English, ICT, or equivalents, Essential Skills in these areas will be completed as part of your apprenticeship.
